CONTRIBUTORS Anastasia Koutsioukis is co-founder and creative director of Mandolin Aegean Bistro, a restaurant in Miami inspired by the cuisine of her Greek heritage and that of her Turkish husband and partner, Ahmet Erkaya. Mandolin recently expanded and partnered with Soho House to open outposts in Miami Beach and Istanbul. Koutsioukis' recipes and design skills have caught the attention of many blogs and publications such as Style.com, the Miami Herald, Elle and Vogue Brazil. In this issue, she shares her favorite go-to spots in Istanbul. "The extreme contrasts in this city of old and new, east meets west, grit and glam, creates a spellbinding energy and tension that you can't explain." 16 ultratravel John Ellis is a Santa Monica- based design and lifestyle photographer, who trains his lens on some of the world's most captivating projects for magazines, including Coastal Living, Dwell and Interior Design. For this issue, Ellis zoomed in on Tel Aviv. "One minute you're in the ancient port of Jaffa and the next, you're in a new architectural museum space made of Corten steel. I love this sort of contrast that you find all over the city." Kelli Delaney is the founder of KDHamptons: The Luxury Lifestyle Diary of the Hamptons, a website that focuses on the alluring people, places, beauty and glamour that comprise the true DNA of Long Island's South Fork. In this issue, Delaney dishes on her favorite hometown haunts. "I enjoy giving our readers an authentic taste of everything this exclusive community has to offer." Prior to launching KDHamptons, Delaney spent 15 years as an editor at magazines including Allure, Glamour and Us Weekly. She currently lives in Water Mill with her husband, Dr. Mark R. Kot. Alyssa Shelasky is a writer and author living in Brooklyn. Her work in food, travel, lifestyle and relationships can be found in New York Magazine, Travel + Leisure, Self, Details, Cosmopolitan and Bon App├ętit, among others. She is also the author of the best-selling memoir, "Apron Anxiety: My Messy Affairs In and Out of the Kitchen." In this issue, Shelasky explores the classics and hidden gems of Napa Valley. "I'm an outdoorsy New Englander originally, so the bikes and hikes at Calistoga Ranch and picnicking with The Proper Sandwich guys made my heart sing." Lesley McKenzie Ultratravel's new contributing features editor caught up with world- famous musician Moby as he readies to debut his new restaurant in Los Angeles. "Whether he's working on his new album or envisioning a restaurant, his passions for being creative and promoting veganism clearly come first." Born in Scotland and raised in the Swiss Alps and the Arabian Desert, McKenzie is also the deputy editor of California lifestyle publication, C. She currently resides in Venice Beach.
